Current Tequila Blues Explosion Festival venues are all in Ixtapa. Main Concert Events are at the Ixtapa Event Centre in Plaza Ixpamar, adjacent to Frank’s Restaurant. Jimmy Buffett style Pool Parties are at Villas Paraiso in Ixtapa and they will be hosting many of our performers as well. Inn at Manzanillo Bay in Troncones is also a Tequila Blues venue. More venues may be added.

We got great feedback from many folks and they wanted us to move forward and build a bigger Festival. And we have. We also continue with our community focus to support the Talita Cumi orphanage near Zihuatanejo and other children’s and animal rescue projects. Our sponsors and leadership group has remained the same and they are more committed than ever. We sincerely thank Big Boy Tequila, Inn at Manzanillo Bay, Villas Paraiso and Frank’s Restaurant/Ixtapa Event Centre.

Today we wanted to alert folks like you who supported us last year that you can get the best possible pricing on guaranteed front row seating all Festival by picking up some Festival passes now. Buy some passes for friends too perhaps. Prices go up on June 21

The fabulous Blues Brothers show on January 10 by Geoff and Chris Dahl, who are considered one of the top two or three Blues Brothers Tribute acts in the world, and are fabulous musicians in their own right, helps kick off the Festival on Thursday, plus we preview our Festival performers that night.

Full concerts Friday and Saturday nights with different material and lineups each night. Then we finish off the Festival with the amazing Blues Kruise 4 Kids on Sunday, January 13 on Picante Catamaran’s Sunset Cruise. Festival Performers will provide the music and fun. If you’ve never been on the Picante Catamaran, check out the many great reviews. “The best part of our vacation” many people say.
