We Make Firm Committments For Local and Regional Community Support For Street Animals and Kids That Want To Rock
10,000 pesos per year for 3 Years starting 2025 for Neutering and Spay Clinics or Services For Street Animals, and 5,000 pesos 2025-2026 to Kids Rock n Blues Education. Maybe more with your Help.

Announcements start coming in mid-year about Performers and plans for side events.
However, we want to start more fundraising very soon towards the costs of bringing in a Big Name Performer and Quality Stage and Sound Equipment, plus continue to work to build up our Team Tequila Big Hearts Community Fund. The Community Fund, as it sits today, comes from draws and 50-50’s at our 2023-2025 events.
It currently sits at $30,500 pesos. All from our fans. We wish for much more of course but we are committed to making an impact in the community even with this amount..
Our dream for the medium to longer term, is for our own facility and a centre for animal rescue and kids music education and performance, as we have explained on our website in the past. We’re gonna keep that dream alive but our leadership team has decided we will commit fund s to existing projects or projects we organize and implement in the community as soon possible.
We have committed to an annual Neutering and spaying clinic for Zihuatanejo and Region and will contribute 10,000 pesos or more if possible to the Project Starting in 2025. For a minimum of 3 years. We’re working on organizing it now. Working to connect with veterinary students and local vets, who can help us provide a once-a-year clinic at low cost or possibly free for street rescue cats and dogs. Hopefully, other sponsors and supporters will contribute as well.. Subsidizing the local veterinarian’s standard fee schedule for neutering and spay is also an option.
Similarly, we have allocated a minimum $5,000 pesos to our own Team Tequlla School of Rock and Blues for 2025 through our event dates in 2026. Please help us if you have suggestions for individuals or projects we can offer support to.
In addition, we are committing to ensuring that all Performers who appear with us will be amenable to offering instruction and advice to local kids at clinics we will organize prior to some of our events in the future. We have no doubt their Big Hearts and “Give Back” attitude will support this. Those are the kind of Performers we already work with and want to continue to.
