Sippin ‘n Samplin Becomes It’s Own Fest in 2026 Celebrating Mexico’s Blue Agave National Treasure And The Great Tequila & Mezcal Brands and Products Derived From It.

Firstly to say it’s an Event for our Causes…street animal rescue with a focus on neutering and medical treatment, and support for talented kids and their musical education who may be in disadvantaged situations and need both mentorship and equipment. Each year we add to our Big Hearts Fund and will make grants or sponsor events with it. Our focus is local, and regionally in Mexio firstly, but even nationally or beyond if the impact warrants Each request for assistance considered and evaluated. We’re adding to our Causes as circumstances permit. A compelling strory from one of our members who saw this first hand tell us that the local hospital serving the general Mexican population would greatly beneift from regular donation of specific medical supplies. We will start in 2026 on a trial basis and hopefully expand yearly

The plan calls for this to happen in two phases. First we greatly expand the sippin and samplin offerings we already have at our Tequila Rock ‘n Blues Explosions Festival. The homegrown Fest we started in 2018 which steadily grows every year with organic fan support only. Organized by a group of Canadian, USA and Mexican folks, all with ties to Mexico, on an ad hoc basis.

iSo this means we’ll make this portable for January 22-25, 2026. In Zihuatanejo, Zihua Playa La Ropa, Ixtapa, Ixtapa Playa Linda and Troncones at our various top shelf musical events. Out of town big stage performers. Picture volunteers walking around with tequila bottles strapped to their body Pancho Villa style offering Samplers for a small donation to our Causes. Something like 30 pesos each. 2 for 50 pesos, 5 for 100-treat your whole group. We’ll kick the donation pricing around a bit more, but you get the idea of where we are headed I hope.

Then for January 29-31, 2026 we’re planning on having one static site, for about 3 hours during the happy hours and dinner hours. With live music from local performers or some comedy karaoke or even a great film or two. Meals, snacks and other drinks of course available at the venue we select. Picture art and crafts on sale possible, coconut oil and other derivatives from another favorite Mexico product and much more like that to browse. The location could be Zihua or Ixtapa or Troncones. We’ll entertain interest. However, we haven’t ruled out making it portable again too. We’ll finalize our plans by October 28..
