Our Mission, Our Brand: Since 2018, the music of our lives and fun loving voluneer group of Canadians, Americans and Mexicans has presented uptempo rock and blues music in Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa region. Working with locally owned venues, always for important local causes, and with an effort to highlight local youth performers through our Mexico’s Got Talent Showcase initiative. Talented performers from Mexico, Canada and the USA come in and join us for our weekend in January and to rock our fans and enjoy our wonderful too hidden paradise. Yes, there is always is a shot or two of Tequila or Mezcal available for you as we start each event with the words “Join With Me, Raise Your Glasses, SALUD…Now Let’s Rock!” It our Signature. In 2026, as you see by the name, we’re making a staement about and standing up for UNITY. It works. It’s how roll every year. Join us!

Ixtapa–January 22 7:00 pm Ricardo’s Restaurante & Rock Room at the Villas Paraiso Hotel Ixtapa. Warm Up Night. Meet and Greet Performers and Live Rehearsal. Play Our Name That Riff Game For Fest Tickets. Free For Advance Ticket Holders or 250 Pesos If You Don’t Want To Go Festing.
Zihuatanejo–January 23 5:30 pm start with Youth Group or 6:00 pm Madana Restaurant and Rock and Blues Bar, Zihuatanejo. 2 for 1 Margaritas Promo 5-7 pm. Sold Out, but some tickets always become available last minute if you are in the front room at Madana. ready to join the back room fans. Enjoy the Margaritas promo there too. 4.5-5 Hours of Live Music like all other Events except Beach Party which is slightly less.
Play Linda–January 24 1:00 pm Beach Party Festing at the Ocean, Beachwear Theme Of Course And It’s Our AC-DC Music Afternoon. Among A Lot More. 3.5-4 Hours Of Live Music. Zihuatanejo–January 25, 4:00 pm Festival Closing Event at Madana Rock and Blue Bar in Zihuatanejo. It’s our ZeeStock for Unity. Full Show. Ticketed Event. Local Performers are invited to join our Festival Performers for a free 1 hour performance at Madana’s front stage prior to the start of our ticketed Show and all inclusive dinner and drinks or a la carte (your option) in the Rock n Blues Room at back. It’s Our Farewell to Performers Event. Music Theme Is “The Blues Had A Baby And They Called It Rock ‘n Roll”…the blues rock music we love from the 60’s & 70’s that the blues inspired. And a whole lot more great live music.

6:05 pm Reiner Piehl and Friends The Unity Band, Classic Rock Hits. Reiner with vocals, saxophone and keyboards, from Victoria, BC Canada. And his friends are from Morelia.

7:30 pm Evelyn Rubio Houston, USA-Rockin’ Saxophone and Vocals, Soul Blues Evelyn from Houston, Texas but grew up In Mexico City
8:15 pm Brody Buster, Kansas City, USA, Harmonica prodigy B.B. King approved, and one-man band extraordinaire with guitar, vocals,harmonica, drums. Keyboard too at times.

For All Shows and Venues, Set Lists Will Be Changed And the Order of Performance Will Be Changed. Each Show Will Be Designed To Feel Unique. Schedules Are Finalized At The Last Minute To Incorporate Previous Events’ Crowd Response to Performers and Songs So There May Be Some Alternations To Published Schedules.
Pro Tip: If you want AC-DC Music We’d Recommend You Head Over the Saturday afternoon Beach Party get Thunderstruck and Back in Black and a great mix of high energy classic rock and blues beach party worthy. If you want maximum 80’s rock and blues we suggest you be part of our Saturday night event. If you want blues influenced rock from the 60’s & 70’s, that is our theme for Sunday’s event.
If you want at Tequila Shot or 2 (new for 2026) as we kickoff each event with a “Salud, Let’s Rock”, our signature opening, and for 2026 “Let’s Rock and Let’s Stand Up For Unity, we suggest you go to every Event and receive our Top Fan badge and some great prizes.. Seriously we have prizes and it involves 2027 tickets and merch.

Evelyn Rubio is a great combinaton with voice and saxophone and truly a really big heart. Lorena Cabrera Bernal has a powerful voice that can sing everything from soft ballads to heavy metal.

Sue and Doug “Greaseball” Kennedy of Cabri Saskatchewan are back again with a group of 6. Big heart Sue donated her 50-50 winnings back to the street animals and kids in 2023
