  1. Hello Bob and Team Tequila,

Fresh off headlining 2 nights at the Oswego NY Harborfest, I would like to submit Regina Bonelli for the 2023 Festival.

REGINA BONELLI, singer, songwriter, NY Blues Hall of Fame Member:

“This lady has a mighty voice and can throw it like a diva…her vocal here is truly majestic, reminiscent of a young Maggie Bell.”

“I saw her at the Riverfront Blues Festival in Delaware. Be sure to catch her live show!”

Released in March her 3rd album “Truth Hurts” is receiving tons of worldwide airplay including rotation on BB King”s Sirius XM channel, being featured on Rack Of Blues and getting rave reviews. The album is still charting!

Two songs from the album, title track “Truth Hurts” is a very groovy, bluesy tune and also a cover of “It’s Not My Cross To Bear” featuring Michael “Kid Funkadelic” Hampton on guitar. They are both on the blues charts now.

“Truth Hurts” entered the Living Blues charts at #23 and for the week of March 5th the new #1 on the RMR Blues/Soul charts was her heartfelt cover of “It’s Not My Cross To Bear”.

Her 2021 single “I Got To Go” shot up to #5 on the Roots Music Report blues singles charts one day after release.

Her 2018 album “Love Letter” went #1 on the Roots Music Report, spawned 6 top 20 hits on the RMR and has been listed on many best blues album of 2018/2019 round ups and is still charting!

Festivals played and upcoming include: 2021 Bucks County Blues Society Picnic-PA (sold out show), Pennsylvania Blues festival kick off performing with her own band and renowned guitarist Ronnie Earl, In Allentown, PA 2 years at the Blues, Brews & BBQ, Camping With The Blues Festival-Tampa FL, Oswego Harbor Fest 2022, 2018 – NY, Barrier Beach Blues Festival – NY, The Gloucester, MA Blues Festival, St. George Blues Festival, DE, and South Mountain International Blues Festival, NJ.
