Current Tequila Blues Explosion Festival venues are all in Ixtapa. Main Concert Events are at the Ixtapa Event Centre in Plaza Ixpamar, adjacent to Frank’s Restaurant. Jimmy Buffett style Pool Parties are at Villas Paraiso in Ixtapa and they will be hosting many of our performers as well. Inn at Manzanillo Bay in Troncones is also a Tequila Blues venue. More venues may be added.

At least 50-100 new visitors to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo are here for the first annual Tequila Blues Explosion Fest Fundraising Concert and they will be at the Concert Saturday January 6, all in the front row and nearby. These are true fans. Fans of the blues and blues-rock, fans of the performers. The mix of world-class entertainment here and our great weather and many beaches is the perfect combination to bring many more visitors to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo and region, including Troncones and all the other beach resorts nearby. Our data on advance ticket purchases tells us that already.
